i-City · Shah Alam · Selangor

Two apartments at i-City. Book them straight with me.

I'm Rauf, I own both flats and I answer the messages myself. Tell me your dates and I'll come back with what I can do for those nights. Both are inside i-City itself, in the blocks nearest the covered bridge into Central i-City mall, so the mall is a walk rather than a drive.

2 units, same precinct 1–3 guests each 1 free car park per unit Self check-in from 3pm Walk to Central i-City

I let these two out myself. Most people find me on Airbnb, which is fine, but a good number message me directly instead, usually the ones coming back a second time. This site is here so you can do that from the start rather than hunting for a way to reach me.

The practical answer

Free covered parking, a 120 Mbps fibre line, and the mall over a covered bridge.

The three things people actually search for at i-City are somewhere to put the car, internet that works, and not having to drive to dinner. Both my units have all three, and here they are side by side rather than buried in a listing.

Both bays are reserved and inside the building, so on a Saturday night you drive straight in while everyone else is circling.

The two units

Hyde Tower and Liberty Tower.

Both are one-bedroom SoHo apartments sleeping up to three, with a queen bed, one and a half bathrooms, a washer, a free parking bay and self check-in. The difference is what you want out of the trip. Groups of four to six take both and stay in the same precinct.

Straight answers

The things people message to ask.

Where exactly is it?

Inside i-City itself, in Seksyen 7, Shah Alam.

Both my towers are in the blocks nearest the covered bridge into Central i-City mall, you can get to dinner without an umbrella or a car. More on the area and getting here.

How do I book direct?

Message me on WhatsApp with your dates. That's the whole process.

I answer myself and quote you for those nights. No account to create, nobody in between. How direct booking works here.

How does check-in work?

Self check-in with a lockbox, any time from 3pm.

Nobody to meet. I'd rather you let yourself in at midnight after a late flight than sit in a car park waiting for me, so the code and your bay come through before you travel.

Is there parking?

Yes, one free reserved bay per unit, included.

This is the question I get most, and it's the one that changes a Saturday. Your bay is inside the building and kept for you, so you drive in and go up.

How many can stay?

One to three per unit, on a queen bed with a folding mattress for the third.

There are two, so a group of up to six can take both and stay in the same precinct rather than splitting across town. Say so in one message and I'll check both calendars together.

Which unit has both a car park and fast wifi?

Both do, a free reserved covered bay each, and a 120 Mbps fibre line in Hyde Tower.

Liberty Tower is on fibre broadband too. The bay is reserved and inside the building, not a public deck you queue for, which is the part that matters on a Saturday. Full comparison in the table above.

Where's the best place to stay at i-City?

Inside the precinct rather than a drive away. That's the part that decides the trip.

The light park only works after dark and runs late, so the walk home beats the drive home by a distance. After that it comes down to a reserved bay, a real fibre line if you're working, and a kitchen. More on the area here.

Can I cook, and can I do laundry?

Both. Each unit has a working kitchen and a washer.

Liberty Tower has an oven and a dining table; Hyde Tower has a hob, a microwave and a sandwich griller. There's a drying rack behind the door in each. It's why people stay with me for a month rather than a weekend.

Are these proper short-stay units?

Both are SoHo units, small office / home office title, not purely residential.

That's the category these stays are let under, and it's worth asking wherever you book in Malaysia right now. Mine sit in buildings where short stays are what the title is for.

I've been letting both on Airbnb for years and the reviews live there, 4.8 across 352 reviews for Hyde Tower and 4.9 across 347 for Liberty Tower, as of 2 September 2026. Worth a read before you message me.

Booking direct means you're talking to me.

Not a call centre, not a form. Send your dates and how many of you there are, and I'll come back with what I can do for those nights.
